B2B Repair Terms of Service - Acadian Technology Solutions LLC (Acadian Tech)
1. Liability and Shipping:
Customers assume all liability when mailing devices for service and repairs. Acadian Tech is not liable for damages or loss incurred during delivery service handling. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees if a repair quote is declined, a device cannot be repaired, or if a diagnostic fee is waived by Acadian Tech.
2. Device Testing and Data Loss:
Acadian Tech is not responsible for issues untestable prior to repair due to reasons including, but not limited to, incorrect passcodes, lack of power, or inoperable interfaces. Acadian Tech is not responsible for any data loss or damages arising from data loss that may occur as a result of using our services. Whenever possible, we strongly recommend backing up any important data prior to sending devices for repair.
3. Liquid Damage and Data Recovery:
Services may be limited to data recovery for devices with liquid damage, at our discretion. For successful data recovery, full charges apply even if access is hindered after a successful repair (e.g., incorrect passcode).|
We do not guarantee the future functionality of devices that have suffered liquid damage, and are not responsible for any post-repair malfunctions on liquid damaged devices; we provide no warranty whatsoever for liquid damage repair.
4. Diagnostic Service and Bench Fee:
A bench fee of $75 plus the cost of parts and consumables is charged if a device is unrepairable, determined to be not in need of board repair i.e. issue is parts related or cannot be replicated, or if repair is declined post-diagnosis.
5. Sales Tax and Fees:
Services are subject to 8.7% sales tax, excluding tax-exempt clients with proper documentation.
6. Payment and Abandonment:
Devices remaining unpaid for over 30 days post-invoice are deemed abandoned and become lawful property of Acadian Tech, which may dispose of or utilize the property at our discretion.
7. Warranty Policy:
We provide a 90-day warranty on parts and workmanship from the repair date, covering the repairs performed. This does not extend to issues outside the scope of our initial repair, accidental damage, or devices with liquid damage.
8. Acceptance of Terms:
By submitting a device for repair, customers agree to these terms. Acadian Tech reserves the right to modify these terms. Acadian Tech reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion.
